	MEMWORX GmbH is a limited liability company for the development of content and applications for digital media (Internet, 3G cell phones). The partners are Dr Ernst Burkel and Klaus Rohleder . The managing partner is Ernst Burkel.

	After having dealt with memes either way in our respective professional backgrounds (Burkel as MD and writer, Rohleder as managing partner of a leading supplier of interior textiles) we joined forces to elaborate our ideas on content for digital media in 2004 and founded MEMWORX. As expected, others got infected too: Leon Messner (Berlin) and Alfonso Rutigliano (Neuchâtel/New York) became additional members of MEMWORX´s core. This team is assisted by a handful of ad-hoc free-lancers.
